Target Price Calculator Guide
The Formula We Use
Cost = Buy Price × Quantity
Turnover = (Buy Price + Target Sell) × Quantity
Fees = (Fees% ÷ 100 × Turnover) + Flat Fees
Net Profit = (Target Sell − Buy Price) × Quantity − Fees
T = (Target % ÷ 100) × Cost
Target Sell = [ T ÷ Quantity + Buy × (1 + p) + Flat ÷ Quantity ] ÷ (1 − p)
where
p = Fees% ÷ 100
Target Sell = [ Target $ ÷ Quantity + Buy × (1 + p) + Flat ÷ Quantity ] ÷ (1 − p)
Break-even = [ Buy × (1 + p) + Flat ÷ Quantity ] ÷ (1 − p)
Example Calculation (USD)
- Cost = 150 × 100 = $15,000.00
- T = 15% × 15,000 = $2,250.00
-
Target Sell =
[ 2,250 ÷ 100 + 150 × (1 + 0.002) + 10 ÷ 100 ] ÷ (1 − 0.002)
≈ $173.25 - Break-even ≈ $150.45
- At $173.25, net profit ≈ $2,250 after fees.
